    Don't recklessly throw out smash attacks. Up-throw is key while playing Ike. It combos into nearly all of his aerials. Your main ways of killing will be back air, forward air, and up-air. Eruption (neutral b) is a great edge-guarding tool. It covers most get-up options. If you want to see a good Ike in action, look up MVG Ryo, he's currently the best Ike player in the world.

    Approach with Reverse Aerial Rush (RAR) back air. Neutral air works too, but don't be too predictable with neutral air, you have a chance at getting shield grabbed. If that is the case, tomahawk them. A tomahawk is when you jump, your opponent predicts you're going to attack, but then you fast fall, and then grab them. I hope this helps! :)

    When they think you're gonna attack, they'll most likely shield. That's when you grab them.
