    In Mega Man 2-10, you can cheese your way through spikes with invincibility frames, but in the original Mega Man, spikes still get you even with invincibility frames. And speaking of blue heroes being weak to spikes in their first game, Sonic could still be affect by spikes, even with invincibility frames.
