Question

Need Help With Sims 3!

I have two sims who are old friends and I've tried doing multiple romantic interactions to make them romantic interests. I made on sim think that the other is alluring, but when I click on 'Confess Attraction', nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Perhaps its a glitch? The Sims 3 can be quite glitchy... My sis once had a toddler and a grown-up stuck in an endless interaction thing
