  • When born, they can be very easily mistaken as a normal pumpkin or other gourd. Farmers commonly make this mistake and return the baby to its nest later on. On the other hand, since the baby dragon is edible like a pumpkin, people sometimes decide to cook it anyway. (continue)

  • At their adolescence, their vines begin to replace their stubby pumpkin feet with more agile legs and at that point, they're no longer edible as pumpkins. Once their new legs have fully developed, they grow claws for better grip. (continue)

  • They are a calm and understanding species, only becoming aggressive if something is trying to destroy their territory or family. Farmers usually befriend a nearby gourd dragon to help protect their crops and because they're actually nice to have around. (continue)

  • Gourd dragons are understanding when farmers mistake the babies for regular pumpkins during the fall season, and have more babies than usual just in case that happens. Some people, not just farmers, take a gourd dragon as a pet due to them only growing up to five feet tall as an adult. (continue)

  • It's been known that if a person and a gourd dragon have a close enough friendship during its adolescence, the dragon can become bipedal and its front claws more dexterous, like hands. This has only happened to the gourd dragons that were kept as pets so far. (continue)

  • Their diet consists of only water as a child and pretty much anything edible later on in life due to them being omnivorous. They also come in other gourd types such as squash or others, and they resemble different types of dragons depending on the gourd.

  • When a gourd dragon dies, something happens depending on its life and how it died. If it had a good life and died peacefully, it leaves behind a blue pumpkin for anything to eat. If it was had a bad life and dies peacefully or vice versa, it dies like anything does. If it had a bad life and is killed, it immediately begins to rot away and releases a terrible odor.

  • Never cut off the head of one if it's had a bad life because you will get poisoned by its blood and die within minutes.

  • This is the most detail 2 1 monster I seen. I probably can't do this. XD
