    Well Roberto was one of the Octarian elite soldiers and when he found out about Annie's pregnancy, he snuck her and himself to Inkopolis to keep her safe. But the plan sort went wrong and Inkopolis homeland caught them. They would have both been imprisoned but Roberto demanded that Annie be let go due to her being a bartender and well pregnant with Kira.

    Roberto took the full sentence which would have been twenty years but the second great turf war ended and Inkopolis let him go seven years into the sentence. I'll be elaborating on this story along with how Merlinand Ariel meet later on in the story.
