So I guess you're more likely to get super-rare materials when you take on a network Link whose level is higher than yours. That aside, it seems like levels beyond 99 don't actually get more difficult. My brother also had an incident where he did a 139 which was 100 more than most of his characters, and it was easier than mine, which was just over 100.
