Tifani, the brunette, still doesn't have a final outfit, but she's a very feminine character. Her hair has gone through revisions, not being as bulky in design, because that made zero sense logically and aesthetically. But she still maintains her pink hair clips and overall is very conscious of her appearance.

Angelo, for a time, was the only male apprentice so it was fun brainstorming designs. His hair lockes used to protrude more dramatically but have been made more natural and less pronounced, occasionally falling over his face. His battle attire has numerous spade shaped accents, considering that's his character symbol. His design evokes a masculine aura, though I try not to make him too buff. But

he trains a lot so naturally he's rather fit. I didn't want him to be too stereotypically masculine since he was the only guy, so when he's out of battle he's generally drawn with mellower expressions.

Zula is a swordswoman who ironically has bright unusual hair. I suppose she's the most animesque out of the apprentices. Her cloak is her signature thing, but I haven't finished her battle attire. Zula's hair and bangs are rigid and angular to fit her personality, and her hair tends to have distinct points at the top, making her look like an angry kitty sometimes.

Here is the last character I'll indepth analyze, Dodeca. Dodeca was a challenge considering her large role and significance in the stories. I looked up goddess-like characters but I tried not to make her overdesigned, because overdesigned characters are an eyesore. The Greek letter 12 is used quite a bit as an accent in her attire, with her winglike headpiece not being too large. Her hair is gene

rally wavy and goes back length. Her expressions are tranquil but can grow very angry if provoked. There's quite a few surprises with this one. I wanted her to be an authority figure, but not be wooden, as she's still a dynamic character in her appearances.

Miscellaneous notes: For the Pokemon I try staying as close to their official designs as possible. Though I often customize expressions and proportions. Aqua is shorter than other Wartortle so his body is more proportionate to the others around him. I guess I can say in general that my characters combine the exaggerated feel of western characters combined with a soft, anime-inspired vibe.

Hily carp you put a lot of thought into this! There were some things I hadn't picked up on, they're very intricate while not being overcomplex or convoluted.

Thank you! I tried adding tidbits to make it interesting XD I like to strike the perfect place between simple and complex, usually more towards simple.

Yeah, I agree! The amount of thought and detail is pretty staggering! o.o They seem like pretty simple characters, so I didn't really expect them to have so much about them. You really thought this through pretty well!
