Yesterday's Firework Adventure

Last night we were having a bonfire and my little brother suggested that my dad light off o few fireworks. So he got a box of them down and picked one that was supposed to go up, branch out, and explode. (pretty standard) Well, after being lit, it went up about 4ft, landed on the driveway, and blew with 1 big bang.

    It also knocked over the bucket and pipe we used as a launcher, and left a nice white mark on the driveway. We then decided to try another one, this time it didn't even lift out of the pipe! When it blew the plastic bucket and pipe shattered, and it put a half inch deep dip in the blacktop. We're still finding pieces of plastic in the yard!
