Should i reset my game?

i have the island full of villagers but most i feel as if there unimportant. i want to keep the streetpass items. as in the ones from Nintendo at least. should i reset?

    Just delete the Islanders you dislike. It won't effect your game, It only costs 21 dollars

    well it dose effect the rating of the island the 'star points' [i think? can't remember] but I DON'T HAVE THAT YET! yay i think i'll just delete a lot of Miis. Thanks!
