    Cartridges in the past were expensive and couldn't hold the memory of a disc and discs were much cheaper but now cartridges can hold more memory than discs and game systems that use cartridges last longer because they have no moving parts

    Cartridges CAN mean: much faster loading times cheaper consoles(disc drives are more expensive) more storage The only bad thing I can think about carts is that they might be more expensive. They don't have to be, though.
