One of the positive aspects regarding BotW's release is that so far we've seen the Wii U material and it is solid. Even if the NX version is punched up, I'm happy with the Wii U version. Sometimes when a next gen game is introduced, the next console version is the focus, with the older gen console game being buggy or heavily altered to be able to run.
