    I do think Zelda: BOTW will likely have both fairies and potions, though potions are technically in the game even if they are called elixirs now as we make them :-) (There might be shops that sells special potions for all what we know). I am pretty sure fairies will be in Zelda: BOTW, even if they serve another purpose than before.

    Just like Kira said, I do also believe we can buy potions and catch fairies, but it'll be easier to create your own potions/elixirs.

    you can get rupees by searching gaurdians and you can craft potions over fires.
