Hello guys, I'm back again to bring you all another theory. Sadly I was browsing youtube and saw another theorist had already said the end result of my theory. But here we go. In this new Zelda, Breathe of the Wild. We were already given clues and confirmation this Link has been in hibernation, or more rather, cryostasis. And is being asked to shine his light on Hyrule once again. He has no

  • Shan, he hasn't spoiled anything, the game hasn't been released yet. Duuuh. He's just giving a theory.

  • Shan, you better watch it. False reporting can get you banned.

  • I've had people try and debunk my theory with the fact the Koroks are in this world. As well as everyone elses theories on this game. But the Korok's are the Kokiri. The Spirits of the forest are described as beings able to take many forms. The Kokiri, are one of them, being that the Deku Tree had to raise Link after being given the child by Link's dying mother. So yeah, the Koroks took the form

  • Maybe, it's not conclusive proof of anything but it's an interesting idea. And I'd be lying if I said I haven't been waiting for some word on what happened to that particular Link since he was last seen in dire circumstances.

  • Remember that in BotW Link has been asleep for 100 years, so wherever the game goes it has to fit in a period where there's at least a 100 year gap in which Hyrule is in ruin. Presumably that period also had no other Link's in it since the Heros Spirit would be slumbering with Link.

  • of children to comfort Link, and to not make him feel alone as a Hylian.

  • Unfortunately ALBW's Hyrule seems mostly unchanged from the time of ALttP, so the likelihood that BotW takes place between LA and ALBW is slim. Unless Hyrule fell into ruin and was then later rebuilt almost exactly as it was before.

  • lol Guys im just trolling i know its a theory.

    Yeahs0
  • Did it say 100 years?

    Yeahs0
  • lol. Shan regrets it now that a whole chat turned on him.

  • Yeah, that's what the Old Man said anyway. Granted there are possibilities of translation errors and it's also possible Nintendo put that in the demo to throw people off since they had a strong anti-spoiler stance when it came to that demo. Going so far as to remove NPC's and villages from the game to prevent spoilers.

  • Very true, but you also have to keep in mind that ,THAT Hyrule was in a very different land. In the timeline of the hero's defeat, Ganon ruled for a long time. Thus why Hylian writing fused with Gerudo alphabet. Not to mention the land we saw in Breathe of the Wild has been untouched for a LONG time for ruins of the Hyrule Market from the Great Cataclysm to still be standing.

  • Plus as more proof behind that, the master sword was moved to a different location in LTTP, leaving behind the Temple of Time. More proof to consider this, is the different compass directions of Hyrule Castle as opposed to Death Mountain. Which strangly lines up with where we saw Calamity Ganon surround the distant Castle.

  • Lol, he reported me. I just got the notification 6 minutes ago from the administrators, so they flagged this post as spoilers. Way to go on ruining a Theory post.

    Yeahs0
  • Weird. The post is speculation so I don't see how it qualifies as spoilers. Whatever.

    Yeahs2
  • @ARIN. SHOOT! MY BAD YO I DIDN'T THINK THEY WOULD ACTUALLY TAKE ME SERIOUSLY.

    Yeahs1
  • Guys, report Shan's comments for false reporting.

    Yeahs1
  • finally a good theory, none of the WW nonsense

    Yeahs1
  • Lol yeah they react to any reports. And I'm glad I didn't let you down with this theory guys!
