Can someone tell me what I'm supposed to do with the book of combos? How do I use it? And just to clarify, what exactly are combos... Thanks!!

    Combos are item combinations. Combining items is a rudimentary feature of Monster Hunter, I suggest you familiarize yourself with it, regardless if you're a Gunner or Blademaster. The five Books of Combos basically reduce your chances of accidentally creating Garbage when combining items. Having all five books gives a 100% success rate.

    Here's a few examples of item combination: Herb + Blue Mushroom = Potion Potion + Honey = Mega Potion Stone + sap plant = bomb casing bomb casing + tranquilizer = Tranq bomb

    Generally, you keep the combo books in your item box because that's where you usually do the most combining. You can also carry them in your pouch if you know you will need to combine something on a quest (gunners do this a lot), but they do take up precious space and u can eat for combiner (low) or combiner (high) so you don't have to carry the books.
