    Maintain a balanced profile. You'll need the items you're converting into resource points for making consumable items & upgrading/forging weapons & armor. BUT, you'll need resource points to keep certain facilities running. You'll unlock said facilities soon. So again, balance. Save some of your resources for your own needs, & convert some into resource points.

    Just imho. Rely on hunt results for resource points. U'll get so much more from killing one single monster, than trading so many items that u might need one day Cuz when u're slaying beasts like a real pro on the future, gathering or looking for specific items will become so much of a burden that u'll most probably hate. just my opinion.
