So... my sister got MH3, and that's awesome... except she refuses to play the story so she'll have decent armor and a good weapon. I've been carrying her through a lot, but I'm going to need her to really try to fight and not run away... or at least dungbomb/paintball.

    I find pellet s spamming to be of use in these situations. If they refuse to engage the monster they get pelted till the monster engages them.

    get her to make a good supply of paintballs to help track ur pray if u need tips on good combos for co op play just ask

    Try showing her how exactly to evade, monster tells, help her get armor to withstand being battered while she learns the monster patterns. Show her exactly how to use her weapon if you can, ex. GS should be charging up, hammers should aim for the head, swax should spam swordmode, things like that. Teach her how to dodge and stick to the monster first, that seems to be the most prominent problem.

    Let her be... mh are not made for everyone :( Should u need companions that badly, there's a lot of amazing hunters on the ports. Maybe she'll try again if she sees u having so much fun with this game

    @gamernerd actually it isn't. Soy isn't being mean he's just stating a fact. This applies 2 other games as well not just mh. Mh is a game for determined patient ppl that can adapt 2 any situation given enuff time. Its not for casuals and the faint of heart.
