i just got this game but the beginning is so boring, only cuz i have no idea what to do :/ The game doesn't really tell u what to do in the beginning

    Take your time and read what villagers have to say. The beginning is slow to give you time to get acclimated to the controls. Once you get past the beginning, it becomes 95% monster hunts. There is a lot more to this game than meets the eye, and if you rush the basics, it will hurt later.

    lol accidentally didn't do the tutorial, i just went straight to the boat, im re doing the game and so far its more playable

    That would explain a lot. Yeah the Tanzia Port stuff is designed for multiplayer, and it assumes you have an idea of what you are doing already.

    Gah, always rushing through games! lol I usually play games really slowly to get everything in, so MH3U should be fun for me since that's what you're supposed to do it seems.

    its kinda your traditional foreign game. here in usa we have gotten use to arrows and markers in a one set path game design. go here or you cant progress or dont have that item to unlock door,boss, etc. just take your time and after you kill a dozen major monsters youll be hooked or very frustrated lol
