just got this!as someone who has played through mz2-4,i'm really looking forward to it! tell me though,is it really as hard as everyone says it is?mz veterans appreciated!

    Nope people just over exaggerate too much when I played this on my Gameboy advance I beat it easily. The final boss was the only hard part of the game but once you figure it some tricks to beating him its easy then.

    The game is mostly challenging if you aim for S or A ranks. Scoring can be picky.

    I personally say it is the second hardest in the franchise. To me, MMZ3 was much more difficult.

    Zero 1: Not that hard. Zero 2: You are tasked with insane missions that LOOK hard, but aren't that bad. Zero 3: Certain missions are more tedious than hard. (Volteal Biblio comes to mind...) Overall easy. Zero 4 : By far the hardest, partially because the controls feel slightly different, and it takes time to adapt.

    The saber swings a bit slower from what I've noticed, the enemies have more health and the bosses/mini-bosses have more complex and hard to dodge attacks. I like Zero 4 a lot, but I do find it harder than the other three. I'm curious as to why you find it the easiest...

    @Micah i don't really know.it's just that when i played zero 4,compared to the others i lost less health and was able to get better scores.coincidence,maybe?

    @micah well,to tell the truth,i don't remember...i haven't played those games in years.but i vaguely remember playing through zero 4 on hard mode and beating it.refresh my memory;how do you unlock hard mode in zero 1-4?

    I assume you unlock hard mode by beating normal mode. Hard mode means you can't charge any of your weapons, and you can't use cyberelves.

    hmm,well i don't remember that.i never used cyber elves to begin with,but as for the charging weapons thing,i did that a lot.so i guess maybe i didn't try hard mode.that'll give me something to look forward to!
