sometimes a unforcast monster apears in the moga please explain and is their a way to get rath talons gerantied from a rathalos

    Moga woods will generate random monsters. Breaking both of Rathalos's wings gives the best chance at getting a talon.

    The forecast only says what monsters will be there when you first enter. If there is only one monster, or you kill one of the two, more monsters can spawn. The new monsters are random as to what they are.

    Regarding the talons, they're a 60-70% drop from breaking the wings of low and high rank raths. No other way gets them.

    ive fought five monsters in the woods. its directly linked to what rank you are. btw if you see a deviljo or ivory lagi. take'em down for a possible rare item that you can trade for the whetstone mask!

    I've seen a minimum of two and a maximum of six, same as it was in Tri. Unlike Tri, monsters appearances aren't limited to the species native to D. Island. The greater variety gives less of a chance for repeaters.
