    I think you misunderstand. MH4G (the japanese version) has save data transfer from plain MH4, not MH3U. Since MH4 never released here, we can't transfer data from i to 4U.

    You stated that "mh4u won't have mh3u saved game data transfer only the japanese verstion will", implying that in japan they could transfer from MH3G to MH4G, which they could not. The only thing they can do is MH4 to MH4G.

    There's no need to get defensive; at no point were any of lightning's comments the slightest bit hostile-looking. He was just giving you the facts, and your original post does imply Japan having the ability to carry saves from 3u to 4u.

    wouldnt it be awesome to bring your save data from 3u to 4u though i mean sure you get the boring advantage against them if you got far but hey its still fun

    it sucks because when i found out i couldn't transfer my data i saw no reason to keep playing mh3u but then my friend asked me to keep playing multiplayer with him on the 3ds,
