i dont have a wiiU only 3DS so im alone:[ lol but i cant seem to kill the offline gathering hall urgent quest goldbeard cedeus [im horrible in water XD] any sugestions on killing him?

    Use everthing available in the quest, i.e. dragonator when available, and all thr balista ammo you can gather. You dont have to kill it, just damage it enough for quest complete. Also try using....

    Get a Heavy Bow Gun or a Light Bow Gun with either Pierce 3 or Normal 3. All you got to worry from there is dodging. But with that you should kill him no time flat.

    ....a electric element weapon (I recommend lance since they have an edge in underwater combat fo melee, just my 2 cents)

    GB Ceadeus's elemental weaknesses are Dragon, Thunder, & fire (only slightly to fire though) Poison & Slime will help too. What items are you taking with you?

    dragonator when it's ready and when he goes for it. don't bother with the ballista too much, he doesn't let you use them very often. stay behind him and go to town on him. he can't really hit you back there, & it's easy to avoid and reposition if he moves. watch out if he goes high or low, his laser hurts and isn't easily dodgeable when he does it there.

    I suggest getting deviljho dual blades. Also bring air filters and other air restoring items. Armorwise just get something resistant to water.
