Question

Finally got this game! Huge Zelda fan but still getting used to the controls and the feel of this game. Any tips????

    As long as you complete a mission, you do not need to manually pick up Material or Weapon drops. Everything is automatically collected for you at the end of the mission. You can dodge with B or A, depending on the button configuration. If you press down on the Control Stick and hold the dodge button, you will start to dash. Once you are in the dashing animation, you can release the dodge button.

    You can dodge-cancel out of some of the character combo animations. Like for example, Ghirahim will laugh a lot at the end of certain combos. Just press the dodge button, and you can start moving immediately. This is a useful technique, since a lot of combo animations leave you vulnerable.

    Another thing you might want to do is try both control styles to find out what feels easier for you. I ended up liking the warriors controls a lot better.

    I find that since I'm a huge LoZ fan. I prefer using the Zelda controls. More comfortable for me that way.
