So I was wondering...does anyone like the Persona series? not just the games but also like the Persona 4 Animation?

    I LOVE the music from P3; it's so energetic. P3's story was also particularly dark and awesome. P4 is okay as well.

    I only just recently found out about the persona series. i first found persona q, then watched the entire series of the persona 4 animation (so now i know all about P4) but i havent been able to learn about P3. but i really want to

    I recommend P3. It's a good game with some pretty cool characters. The soundtrack is awesome (personally, I like it better than P4).

    It's on the same platforms as P4 (PS2, PS3 via PSN, PS Vita via PSN as P3 Portable, and PSP as P3 Portable). Check out some story walkthroughs if you are interested. Personally, It's better to get the actual game instead of the portable version (they cut most of the anime cutscenes out of the portable version in addition to down-scaled graphics).

    They were a nice addition, but it's still the same game nonetheless. However, if you have a PS3 and about $15 (I forgot how much it is now), I recommend P3.

    Ah. It would be nice if Atlus made a port of the Persona games for Nintendo systems. At least Nintendo has SMT4.

    Shin Megami Tensei is kind of different from the Persona series, but Persona was actually a spinoff of the SMT series. SMT has it's obvious differences from Persona (they used to have the 1st person turn-based combat system; I'm not sure if that progressed on to SMT4), and the stories have a particularly different theme than Persona. I believe that SMT4 is a good game as well.

    To be honest, I have not played any of the SMT games, but I assume that they do. I heard a lot of praise about SMT3 on the PS2 about the gameplay/storyline.
