I haven't actually ever tried them, so I don't know how that works. How can you control Rosalina and Luma at the same time?

well you shoot luma out via rosalina's special, then just attack like regular and luma will copy you. so u can be on opposite sides of the stage and both be attacking

That sounds really convenient. It wouldn't be my style, but I can see why she was considered OP before the nerf.

I play Marth, so I definitely know about nerfing... He's not bad in this game, though. I started using him in Melee and Project: M, where he's considered a lot better, and I decided I might as well stick with him here, despite not being so good. And it's taught me a lot of things about his offstage game.

thats cool. so since you know more about Marth than i do, how does he rank with Lucina.

I don't actually know the answer to that, I don't play much Lucina. I've been told Lucina is easier to play, thanks to her not having the tipper, but aside from that they're pretty similar. I think there's some weight and speed differences and such, but I'm not certain. In my opinion, if you get used to spacing, Marth's better, but if you'd rather not worry about that then choose Lucina.

I can't play him. And I don't know if I can ever fully respect an Ike player in Project: M because I know one person who's Ike is /incredible/. So many combos and techniques I didn't know were possible. But in Smash 4, I wish I saw more. I mean, there's so many Ike players, but I've seen maybe two who are any good. When I see a character played badly often, I really wanna see them played well.

i know what you mean. i find a lot worse when u see someone who uses someone really good, but all they do is use the same move over and over again. like there was tnis one guy, who played bowser jr. and all he used was the clown car drift

Yeah. I spent the majority of the past few months sitting in a room playing with some pretty good players, and now I can't help but feel disappointed by what I see online. I'm used to losing, or at least having to work to win. It shouldn't be as simple as it is, there's supposed to be mind games and fake outs and reads. Not just rocketing across a stage over and over again...

Exactly! i mean im fine with losing but i hate losing to someone like that

No kidding. It's almost embarrassing. I know I'm not amazing, but I shouldn't be losing to that. I won't even complain about all attack spamming, just the ones that run across the entire stage practically invincible.

Ouch, that sounds terrible. Most of my friends know more about it than I do! I still haven't been to a tournament, though I'm trying to soon. You should try getting your friends into it, maybe start a club or something. See if you've got a local scene.

Well, tbh I can't. I have no car and even at 18 my mom's pretty strict. I'm only just allowed to talk to people online. She's also convinced that Smashers are evil and want me to make bad choices. But it is true that it'd probably be simpler. Maybe just try getting your friends to play? When I first started it was just some friends and I playing Melee casually. Now I'm part of a college club.

Yeah it's a... weird situation. I'm technically still a high schooler. But it let me play Smash more often, so I'm REALLY glad it happened.
