    Not all anime is unique; there is plenty of junk out there. I definitely don't go to the theater much anymore. Other then the Marvel movies(huge comic nerd) and the new Godzilla(big fan) I haven't been to the movies much. I mostly watch old movies I love on Bluray.

    I can see where your coming from, but if one goes out of there way, I'm sure there's something out there. I recommend The Artist and The King's Speech. Unfortunately, most video game movies aren't that great (Resident Evil anyone?), but despite that, I recommend the Ace Attorney Movie, I thought it was pretty good.

    I can't agree with this post unfortunately. If you said TV shows, than I'd agree with you. Of course for me to say that a movie is fantastic is rare.

    Although I do agree that older movies are better than the more modern ones. I was disappointed with the lack of good Disney movies this year. Maleficent didn't interest me, and that Planes sequel looked terrible. Although Big Hero 6 was great I thought.

    I love countless old movies. But out of the year they will still be a few modern movies I'm interested in. And you will always have the option to watch old movies. They are some good old movies on NetFlix. I think the last great Disney movie was Frozen.

    most modern movies nowadays lack any originality or charm to them (to me at least) Going to the movie theater or drive ins (before they were "out of date" doesn't have as much of an impact because were spoiled with our technology.
