When I played this on the NES, I never got past the second area. On an emulator, I got much further ahead, but still haven't beaten it as of yet.

    That's where I get stuck too in this game. Whether it's the NES Cart or the Wii VC or Wii U VC, I still have trouble with that second stage to this day. This game is fun but really tough.
