    You'll get him back after you fight the Duramboros. Just keep doing regular Village Quests until then.

    It is not the DLCs fault. It is part of the story. Keep playing and completing single player missions without him and where he went will eventually be revealed. Talk to villagers and they will ask where your little friend is, confirming it is part of the game and not a glitch.
