    If you are on 3DS, you can only play with other 3DS players in the same IRL room as you. You chose the "MULTI" Port to play with others, or SINGLE if you are just playing alone. On WiiU, if you want to play ONLINE, there will be a "Network" option at the bottom, for going online. You can also select "Multi" on WiiU to play with up to 3 on 3DS by the TV with you.
