    I know the first one had a lawasuit but I still think it has a chance If it did not have a chance mario party 3 should have been on the original wii vc AGES ago. and despite the first game getting the most hate & me owning all 3 on my n64, I WANT THE 1ST ONE!

    Yea, I think it had something to do with people getting blisters on their hands from excessively spinning the stick. It would be cool if they brought those games back! Since GC is an evolved N64, and they had N64 virtual console on Wii, hopefully they have GC on Wii U.

    nintendo never had a official word on mario party 1 but my theory is the only reason mario party 2 was released 1st is because it was more popular than mario part 1 AND 3. I thought they were going to add both mario party 1 & 3 later but they didn't because the N64 vc was the 1st console to be dead on the wii vc. and I'm not giving up on the 1st game until nintendo says so!

    @Brandon Btw, Nintendo didn't say that, I hear people ranting that argument about why Nintendo shouldn't release it for VC. Nintendo should still release it though! :)

    I never said nintendo said that is just a theory on why mario party 2 came first. but yeah I'd say give it a similar treatment to the controls like they did with duck hunt which released today (change the controls). now that I think about it tough: none of the sticks compatible with the wii u vc can even hurt you when you spin it with your palm!

    @saad while those adapters only support smash bros (sadly) I was actually referring to the pro and classic controllers.

    while i think the pro controller may not hurt your hand while spinning it (compared to the N64 controller) but yeah your idea is great plus give the adapters that are already out a HUGE update (like when the N64 vc (finally) arrives).
