For a new character, I would like the Pokémon Trainer in Smash Bros 4. What they could do is have your Mii or a Trainer (in a specific Pokémon region's clothes like the Kalos Pokémon Trainer, and depending on which Pokémon region you pick, you get a specific selection of Pokémon. For the Pokémon, Nintendo could put in all the Pokémon with specific movesets and you will only be allowed to choose 3.

    Just the Pokémon can't be TOO big like Groudon. If they can't downsize Ridley, they can't downsize him.
