(We'll start off easy. You'll meet my oc) Riley smiled as snowflakes danced around her in a flurry. The city was blanketed in white twinkling snow as December barreled on. Riley loved this time of year, and she savoured every bit that she could now, heading to the cafe to meet her friends.

Riley's infectious smile grew bigger as she caught sight of two girls sitting in a booth next to the bar. "Want some egg-nog Riley?" the blond girl asked her friend. (Egg-nog is GROSS btw)

(Ok, Im just switchin to first person. I like it better that way!) I turned upon hearing my name called, "Kai?" I smiled brightly at my friend, "Hey, whatcha doing here? It's Christmas eve!"

(Lol, didn't mean to completely ditch you kai! everyone is comin at me at once. )

I smiled at him, sympatheticly, "Sure, of course. I hope it wasn't too hot." I say handing him the napkins.

I looked back behind me at my friends waving me over frantically. "Uhm... can it wait? I've promised Ginny and Lacey I'd chat..." I say.

I noticed he dropped his headset. I grabbed it and jogged outside searchimg through the holiday crowd for him. "Hey," I called once I caught sight of him, "Your headset."

"Hard to say. You look like a familiar face." I glance down at my phone. Geez, I was late. "Hey, maybe we can swap numbers? I've gotta hurry though." I reply handing him my phone.

I nearly sprinted to the park and found Kai, patiently waiting on a nearby bench. "Sorry," I say, sitting beside him, "I got held up. What is it you need to talk about?"

"That is... a lot to take in..." I finish awkwardly. I glanced anywhere but Kai trying to find the words, "I don't know how to feel about you, honestly." I say slowly finally meeting his lowered gaze. "I'm flattered, really, but I just don't know." I left then, hurrying away before any real conflict broke out. Probably not the best move, but Awkward situations and me don't mix up well together.

I checked my phone for any messages. The club huh? Nice. I chuckled to myself and texted, 'Ok, B ther soon.' It was a quick walk to the club, where I sat at a bar close to the stage.

"Yeah." I say, smiling, "Wow, I didn't know you played! That was awesome! Maybe next time, we can do a duet."

I laughed, "No, not really, I am a singer though. I thought it would be a cool twist." My phone buzzed loudly and I was shocked. "Oh, um, Can you give me a lift to the hospital on Geron Street? My friend..."

I was silent most of the ride. I texted Kai, 'what happened?!'
