    Poison always damages monsters, what depends is how my procs it will take to apply poison. Gigginox and wroggi, for example, are poison thus take many more procs to poison then most monsters while other monsters, like the urugaan and diablos, take less.

    Poison damaged monsters no matter what, but gigginox and others are resistant to it, so its not the best attack
