    well haveing trap guru will always help but if you cant get that armor effect i say use its weakness and have both a shock and pitfall trap ready to use(shock for water and pit for land)and tool traps to make new ones if they fail. use the pitfall if it is in its sleeping area and when you see its attacks start to slow down back off and wait to see if it limps (and of corse dont forget tranc bombs

    once hes limping, let him go to the next area that way u can make sure that u dont accidentley put the trap and he leaves
