At 1st chameleos on 4U was very interesting 2 me with the new way it conceals itself as well as its new ways of attacking hunters which it still is interesting 2 me but capcom took some things away from chameleos that i really liked about it like how it use 2 stay invisible majority of the hunt until angered even when u 1st encounter it, and it could drain ur stamina gauage with its gaseous-

Well i feel it could sound like he can be annoying n could take a monotonously long time to defeat even w 4 player he can be invisible but only like Lucent otherwise he can potentially be a chore to fight. I guess Capcom is keeping newcomers in mind lol

The fact that its a Elder Dragon adds to that makes it even moar annoying since it has alotta health.

Well "true elder dragons" that roams around freely hp aren't as high as the large ones that u only fight in one area and even when chameleos was "invisible" majority of the hunt on the older gens it was still ways u could tell where it was, it wasn't that hard 2 find it and it didn't stay invisible all the time. Plus whenever its horn or tail was broken it lost its invisibility and still does on-

-4U whenever its horn or tail is broken. And 4 hunters can make very short work of any elder dragons especially the "true elders" since they're somewhat like normal monsters that can roam around.

But ur right tho that they can be very tough 2 beat for inexperienced players and some are pretty challenging regardless. Especially on 4U, they're serious beast at G-rank lvl.

Well remember this is Capcom's way of things its cool that they're makin MH a little more user friendly (aka dropping the difficulty slightly) so more people can play n be interested in the series cus MH is underrated in the west. Japan it is like a One Piece!

Actually 4U difficulty is turned up lol its way more brutal than 3U. I believe capcom simply wanted 2 make it different on 4U so it wouldn't be just a ported incarnation with mostly the same moveset. I doubt its due 2 wanting 2 make the difficulty noob "friendly" lol. Besides online is very easily accessible on this one so the difficulty will have 2 be turned up.

But difficult or not many ppl have adjusted over time to the more difficult mh games even if it took awhile but now sinc online is easily accessible many won't have it as hard although they'll still have 2 pull their own weight or risk getting kicked lol.

The Ultimate series could be easy n besides 3U was definitely user friendly even though it wasn't marketed as well as Tri (no crazy commercial lol, cus that got me interested in getting the game and Tri looked fun + satisfying n it was the only game i played i was addicted to it lol)

Ya 3U was definitely user friendly, even more so with the 50 base def. But 4U/G is a lot harder, ik from exp since i've played them but u never know, capcom may add 50 base def again or higher on our version lol sure hope not tho it makes u be a tank early so easily.

But at endgame even that wouldn't matter much since 4U/G endgame monsters can easily drop u. Ya 4U doesn't have mic chat just text and its texting is SO limited that u can easily make so many typos! Many aren't gonna like it.

Well they could be a lil fair n do 30 def or 20 would that sound a lil better?

I'd still prefer a def of 1 like how it is on 4G. Plenty ppl complains bout how ez mh been lately so having more challenge won't hurt and ppl will adapt. Plus they can easily get help now anyway.

Besides ever since mh freedom 2 was made they have u equipped in armor from the beginning so u already be having a head start with some defense which is why giving us more defense makes tanking things too ez early on. Plus it doesn't take much to get up to 50 defense or higher anyway. Ppl don't need that much handholding, these later installments are doin enuff of that already. All mh games-

Afaik, there's no boosted Def in 4U. Someone asked on Capcom's GameInformer stream about it and Yuri said there won't be a boost.

@shy guy ah ok. Well that confirms it then that capcom isn't holding hands anymore and thats good cuz a lot of ppl in the western audience been seeking challenge, well they'll definitely get it on 4U. Plus capcom did the biggest handholding already by making online be easily accessible lol no need for a defense boost. We aren't THAT weak and helpless that we need it regardless if the casuals/-
