    Try shooting out only 3 blocks in each row, (leaving 1 in tact for each row) while avoiding or shooting the missles the hippo fires at you. (The hippo bot will only fire one at a time so it might be better to just jump over it.) Then when you have your chance, shoot the remaining blocks, bring the hippo to the ground, and shoot him before he gets back up.

    Use Beat! I tried everything else, he's the best option. He attacks the missiles and hippo while you shoot blocks.
