  • Though I respect Nintendo's decision to not allow the sharing of FCs, I don't understand it. What is the harm in it? Knowing one's FC isn't inherently dangerous. Both parties must enter each other's FCs to connect. So, what gives?

  • Nintendo goes to great lengths to make playing a networked game machine safe for children. There are plenty of Animal Crossing Web sites for adults. Websites, facebook, email, message chats are strictly monitored by parents. Game machines should be safe from children being drawn into private conversations.
