    1. you can go tortimer island and catch beetles and/or fish 2. you can go to tortimer island (after you've become a club tortimer member) and ask people with golden bell bagdes for some 3. open your gate (this will stop the bee hives fromattacking you). Then shake all your trees. Your Welcome!

    there's a dock in the bottom of your map. after you've been making progress and playing a lot, the old mayor, tortimer, will visit you. he tells you to met him at the dock. talk to him. then the next day you can go to the island

    To get to the Island, you need to pay the 40,000 bells for your starter house & visit Nook, next door. Visit the Island around dusk (7-8pm) & fish for tropicals & net large beetles, especially those on the beach. Fish your river at 4p & your ocean at dusk to pay off your house. You can sell fossils until you get to the Island. Consider the economy ordinance, & yellow Feng Shui.
