Does anyone play online? I get on periodically to check and never find anyone. Or is online something you need to coordinate? I honestly feel like this game doesn't have the popularity/gaming population it deserves. Also, can't figure out how to whoop the goofy fire bird, tips/help?

  • You need a Wii U to get into the Monster Hunter online server.

  • My suggestion for the Peco is to search MH3U Qurupeco on YouTube. Unless you are having a specific problem it is really hard to answer your question generically...

  • 1000+?? i don't think lobby numbers differ by region. i mean there are always hundreds, but 1000? i can't confidently agree with that.

  • peco will periodically run forward with little warning, so try to stay at his sides for the most part. unless he's tired (i.e. salivating). atking his legs (from behind or side) will help to knock him over- that or when trapped is best to pursue beak break. also when he multi-hop fire claps he always finishes with a cry (good time to atk back). sonic bombs can cancel song/calls and daze it too.

  • Zeus is correct. There is, unfortunately, no online play for the 3ds version. There is a way to connect with a 3ds if you also have a WiiU, though.

  • I guess just one more reason to get a wii u, lol. been debating it anyway. I just like the 3ds version because my son and I like questing together.

  • @Marcos: meant to type "100+" hahaha xD but yeah, i can see 7+ worlds full from time to time. That's 700 people to the very least. Considering u could only hunt with 3 of them, the options are quite many. Totally not a ghost town (like *cough* ac black flag's *cough*)

  • AC BLACK FLAG?! LOL!! my friend was just talking up that game the other day! yeah even the slowest days have at least two to three hundred. i should say nights/early mornings, depending on time zone- when all of the americans are getting ready to go to sleep or just fell asleep and, at the same time, all of the europeans are just waking up or not quite up yet, is when only us night owls are on! xD

  • You can still play together even if one of you is on the Wii U and the other on a 3ds. But only one 3ds can get on to internet play through the Wii U at a time (as I understand it).
