    It appears you have the 3DS version. To play the 3DS version online, you need a Wii U, USB to ethernet cable, & the MH3U Packet Relay app which is downloaded & run on the Wii U. Unfortunately, if you don't have all the items I listed, you are stuck with local multi play.
