To our new hunters on the 3DS: I'd like to remind & inform you all of a few things: First, friend codes are not needed here, I'll elaborate on that later. BUT, posting friend codes is a violation of Miiverse policy. In other words, post your FC, you're gonna get in trouble. If you value being a part of this community, please don't post your FC (rest in comments)

  • Don't misunderstand me; I didn't mean we should throw them in the ocean and force them to swim to shore. If you read what I had said, I also said that we should pass down our knowledge, but some things are better learned than given. I fully agree with you that we are to share our knowledge regardless of the skill of the player. My comment was more for experienced players rather than new players.

  • It goes both ways, I've met some experienced hunters that went overboard with helping, & I've met my share of leeches.

  • My point exactly. Best to nip it in the bud.

  • And the knowledge has been passed upon me to pass upon others! (ooooff topic! Um... whats the best way to break Aleatron horn/head. It can be broken!? I use Lance though...)

  • Hmmm, my method when I solo Ala is to use a Hammer and/or Barrel bombs. If I used a Lance...... I would rely heavily on Barrel Bombing, perhaps in tandem with a Sleep inducing Lance. Sleeping it would provide opportunity to bomb it's head, same when you use the ballista binder. Once you're out of bombs & materials, you'll have to make the most of lancing it's head after you bind it.

  • (The Mind's eye skill would help considerably if your Lance is below White Sharpness)

  • Soo..wat kind of adapter is it?

    Yeahs0
  • It's a gray box with a USB plug on one end, the opposite end has an ethernet port. You plug the USB plug into the Wii U, and connect an ethernet cable from your modem or router to the port on the adapter.

  • No prob. If you're considering it, I would suggest simply buying the Wii U version of MH3U. You can transfer your save data between the two, and you'll be able to play online wirelessly. Also, if you play the 3DS version online, you can only join rooms, you cannot host one. Whereas you can host rooms in the Wii U version, so the online experience is overall better on the Wii U version anyway.

    Yeahs0
  • To answer you from Hero's post, I very faintly remember the name Meru, though I cannot recall your Mii. I believe Frostwolf is under a temporary ban, but I'm sure he'll follow up & reply when he is able.
