    In my opinion, in terms of attribute defense, Brachy armor is a solid choice. It has high fire res (good for Los's fire and Brachy's slime) & neutral Thunder res. Skills, weapons, & items are important too. What armor/weapon are you using now, what skills do you have on your set, and what items are you taking?

    I am taking flash bombs,traps,potions and mega potions,max potions,ancient potions,flash bugs,nulberrys,deodorant,antidote,thunder bugs,and bomb casing.My armor is azure rathalos,weapon is the brach dual blades up to the max of their upgrade.

    Everything looks good, although I'd suggest bringing honey to combine with the potions. Also, herbal medicine is an alternative to antidotes. You're gonna have a tough time with the I. Lagi, it has high raw attack, and your armor is weak to thunder. As the first commenter said, you can manipulate the monsters into attacking each other, though that won't win the quest for you.

    In case you haven't realized, spamming certain items, like traps & hand bombs, has a disadvantage in that they become ineffective. So rather than taking items to make more traps and bombs, try taking support items like demondrug or armordrug.

    Bear in mind that Brachy armor is just my opinion on well rounded elemental defense for this quest. It's certainly possible to complete this quest using the gear you currently have.
