    It's not against the code of conduct, it's just a advised. It is never listed as a VIOLATION. Also, it says in the CoC that you only need to stay on-topic in communities for one specific game, and the Legend of Zelda SERIES is not ONE SPECIFIC game.

    It also says that posts that disrupt communities are a violation, and the off topic post rule implies that they disrupt communities and are, as a result, violations of the MCoC. You should know by now that the admins rarely do their jobs correctly.

    I once got a post deleted because I made up a nickname for myself, and the admins thought it was my name on another social media.
