"Is he breathing now?"

"Great. I... I want him to join the military... With me."

I feel my face heat in anger. "I don't even care! It's me against this whole d@mn horrid world and I'd rather have one with me than just another enemy!" I look over at the kid, who is now sitting up. "W-w-where am I?" He stutters, looking at me with fear visible in his eyes. "You're in the real world, kid. The worst part is, there's no escape."

"Y-you've liked me...?!" I sigh. "I have to go..." I walk out to the wall and stare out at the horizon, leaving everyone staring at the abandoned child with concern.

I jump off of the wall but immediately shoot a line back to the top and just hang there for a while.

I kind of hope the others won't be mad. Then again, at the same time I'm glad I left when I did. My anger got the best of me.

I was tempted never to go back to the walls. I just wanted to be free. I had to experiment first with becoming a titan-shifter to make taking out titans easier if I wanted to live out here, though.

I chuckle slightly. "We really aren't the prey... We hunt everything down and mercilessly kill it."

[Time skip?]

[K, Hiromi stayed up all night. She barely ever sleeps. As everyone else is waking up, she is staring at a wall.] "Oh, hello Eren."

I sigh and put my head down for a moment before feeling a light tap on my shoulder. "Hm?" I look up to see the kid from last night. "I... I want you to help me train to fight titans, Miss..." "Hiromi. Call me Hiromi."

"Anyway, will you please teach me how to fight?! Please!" I mess up his hair with a dopey grin on my face. "Maybe you can train with me sometime. For now, I have to go." It was time for my morning solo in the woods. I eagerly jumped off of the wall and immediately started shooting lines around. Today was the day I decided to start training titans. That's what I was planning all night.

I spot Leah off in the distance and land on a tree. "Having fun, eh?" I chuckle at the captain's daughter outside of the walls playing with titans.

"No, I've wanted to train titans to fìght for us for a while and planned to start today. Looks like you be@t me to it. I like your spünk." I smirk.

I jump onto another titan's shoulder and start running my hands down its neck to calm it.

After I think the titan is calm, I attempt to make it move by whisper-shouting "Find the food." into its ear. In response, the titan runs to the walls. "Interesting..."

"Climb." The titan attempts to climb the wall.

I pet its hair and shoot a line up to the wall. "Dismissed." The titan runs off as I shoot over the wall. I had no idea that when calmed, titans were so obedient. Maybe our weapons scared them.

I stare off into the woods.

I walk back to HQ with a smile on my face and approach Hanji. "Guess. What I. Did."

"I rode a titan!!!! And it didn't try to eat me once! I never realized how truly intriguing the creatures were until now." I swear my voice cracked somewhere during those statements.

"All I had to do was calm it down. Once it was calmed, it was harmless. I just kind of cluelessly ordered it around from there and it did what I said. I think that our weapons and screams of fear scare them which is why they attack."

I giggle slightly. "Calm down, Hanji. I might go out again later. You can come if you'd like and I can show you how I did it."

"But if we go in a group, they'll think we're working with the titans against them. I was starting to think of you more like me but I guess you're just another scaredy-cat rule follower. If we want to win against the titans, we have to take matters into our own hands because clearly the military can't handle this."

I flip off Leah. "I understand that but I meant that you didn't mind... Loosening up, so to speak." I sigh.

I raise an eyebrow. "Oh? Well then, let's go tame that beast! Leaving now, see ya later, byeee~!" I run out of HQ and rush back to the wall.

I gaze out over the area outside of the wall. "So you're back, eh? I'm afraid you'll regret that..." I smile evilly before taking the dive off of the wall.

I find a fifteen meter titan and climb up to its shoulder, calming it as I had done before.

"Find the girl." The titan starts running deep into the woods.

[Start?]

As we approach the female titan, my eyes grow wide. "GO BACK!!! GO BACK TO THE PEOPLE!!!"

The titan frantically runs back and I shoot right up the wall. I dash into HQ, breathing heavily. "The... The b@$t@rd didn't lie... Sh-she's... She's back.."

"Now that I'm done with fake fear," I start, smirking as I did so, "We need to take this thing down. As soon as physically possible. In order to effectively do that, we'll need a plan. Any ideas?"

"Good idea, Leah. From my experience outside of the walls on my own, the titans are afraid of us charging at them. This fear may be why they attack. If we go in groups of four or less, we might be able to calm the titans and use them to our advantage."

I roll my eyes and cross my arms. "Cool your jets, I was considering addressing you as 'b@$t@rd' rather than Leah."

"Whatever. I'll trust you people to choose your own groups. No more than four to a group."

I stare skeptically at Leah for a moment before nodding my head slightly. "Okay then... Hanji, Armin, and Eren will be in a group with me. Then I'll have Jean, Leah, Mikasa, and Sasha...." I go on and on, listing everyone.

"Why do you think I put Mikasa in your group? I don't you two love birds faffing around." I glance to Mikasa. "I trust you can keep those two in order?" She nods. "Good."

"This is a serious mission, Leah. If you aren't going to be serious, I can always swich Jean for Eren."

"Good. I want all of you on the wall with your groups in thirty minutes or less." I walk to the wall and patiently wait for everyone.

I sit down and smack my head against the ground. "Why was I so serious?! Ergh... They probably think I'm an idiot now... I just want us to survive... I don't want to lose anyone... I guess that's why I fight."

Armin arrives a few moments later. "Hello, Hiromi." I look up at him. "Hi Armin. Are Eren and Hanji comming?" He nods. "Okay."

"Can I sit with you..?" Armin asks. I nod and he sits next to me. "I feel like an idiot," I say out of nowhere. "Why?!" "I was so... strict. Strict and obnoxious..." "No you weren't. You got your point across and- Hello, Eren!"
