i was thinking for the water swords that greninja uses,it could be leaf blades.(like the move :D )hydro pump could be a bunch of leaves flying away,shadow sneak could be like a very thin leaf extending,then it retracts with him.(like a hookshot kinda)basicly all the water attacks could be instead of flowing water,be floating leafs.like leaf kirbys tornado sort of.

yeah,but i think a sceptile skin could work,but i do agree it would be better as his own character.the one i want the most thou is bass and treble for megaman.most people say protoman would be better buuuut,rush is part of his moveset.so protoman would be out of place,but bass has another robot dog being treble.and he's basicly the megaman equivalent to dark pit and shadow,so i want that instead.

Aside from Boswer Jr. palette swaps, I really want Cosmic Mario, Dry Bowser, and Psuedo-Palutena. Considering how they're handling the alt costumes with the slight model tweaks and name changes, it seems like these obvious choices would've made more sense than having completely different characters.

I agree on Yarn Yoshi, Yarn Kirby and Paper Mario being in SSB4. But I don't see them as characters made for skins. I mostly saw them as characters of their own, since Yarn Kirby and Paper Mario are WAY different from their actual selves. Yarn kirby not able to have the copy ability and has the ability to shapeshit and Paper Mario could use hammer/Pixls/Partners/Paperize.

It's not that he is overrated, it's the reason that he is overrated. It's because girls like emo edgy characters, like Mr. L. He's the Mario version of Shadow. Plus, he plays an extremely minor role in SPM. I wouldn't die if he was an alt costume for Luigi, but if he was, I wouldn't use him.

Mr L is Luigi after hanging out with Shadow too long. Google Mr L, and you'll see what I mean.

Galacta Knight, Louie, and Daisy are terrible suggestions! These characters have WAY more potential than to be alt costumes. They should have their own slots.

Mr. L is a representation of Luigi's id. In other words, he represents Luigi's uninhibited feelings; particularly the dark side of them. He uses dark imagery as a way to signify a distaste with his often secondary role, and to rebel and strive for a more primary one. Tl;dr, Mr. L isn't emo, but he is perhaps a bit edgy; but for reasons that aren't artificially inserted.

Mimi is the best SPM character. Just saying.

It's true, Demitri. Look, they're definitely going to have a fan base, but the Koopaling's fan base is almost bigger than the Sonic fan base. 7 characters have a bigger fan base than a whole franchise. It's annoying.

I thought you said that Masked Dedede should be a fighter, a character that is literally Dedede wearing a mask. Luigi is player 2. Nuff said. And just because Daisy has little moveset potential, how does it automatically make sense for her to use Peach's moveset, a character she has little in common with, besides also being a princess?

I know, but the fan base can change your perspective on a character, and they did that with Mr. L to me.

I don't think they are minor. Back in the day, they were REALLY big. Today, they aren't as prominent, but they are making more appearances. I wouldn't say minor, but they aren't major either.

@Buddy, Luigi is substantially more prominent and unique than Louie, AND he is one of the original 12. Daisy is not unique enough to warrant ANOTHER Mario character slot. I mean, even Waluigi didn't cut it. The truth is, with all of these Mario characters, new Mario fighters have to be very unique in order to be added. @Demitri, I love them so much. But they are always just midbosses...

The Koopalings are just less popular because everybody thinks that something is lame if it's not in a 3D Mario game. It's pretty sad.

Actually, one thing hurting the Koopalings' image is their constant reuse in NSMB. Even I got bored of seeing them all the time, with minimal creativity. But then MK8 came and made them so unique and gave them all of these excellent animations and nice touches and fantastic voice acting and I fell in love with them yet again. :)

@Mario, this might sound odd, but I'd be happy if the Koopalings' fanbase was bigger than Sonic's. Sonic's fanbase is divided and divisive, and everyone seems so upset and disappointed all the time, and so many conflicts of opinion happen. In the Koopaling fanbase, we are all united by one thing. Pure, untainted love for the Koopalings. Some more than others, but we enjoy them all the same.

Well Keith, I'd say if Daisy were to ever have her own slot, I say she should be in her sports outfit, using her crystal powers from Strikers and her nornal flower power for other attacks. She has the potential to be unique, but some things would have to be made up for her. Personally, she should just use things from the spin-offs and her FS should be one of the machines from Super Mario Land.

What could Daisy do that Peach does that makes sense?
