@Mostafa: I wouldn't. The Sonic fan base isn't really good, but, no offense, but I find the Koopaling fan base to be extremely annoying. Not you, though, I'm talking about the ones that make their own Koopaling OCs, overpopulate the Art Academy community with their OCs, and (gulp) are in love with one of the Koopalings.

I mean, I feel like they have more things to use for her than they had for Rosalina(and Luma). Rosalina(and Luma's) moveset is pretty much made up, the only things that made some sense were her specials, her grab/throws, and some standard attacks. I think that if they can make a Dog & Duck and a flat sir unique, they can do enough to make Daisy unique. I don't see it happening unless she gets-

I'd complain about Dr. Mario if he wasn't an extra, and I'd complain about Daisy having her own slot if she was a clone. I don't mind Mario having the most characters, he IS Ninty's mascot with the most recognizable characters.

I personally feel the Koopalings inclusion was partly due to their popularity and the idea of 8P Smash. Since every character had to have 8 different palettes/alts, they fit in well for Jr. Plus, it appeals to both sides. The people who don't like Jr but like the Koopalings benefit and vice-versa. I say they are just fine as alts.

Well, as time goes on, more smashes will come, and eventually his representation will increase. The only character that has importance left in the main Mario games is Toad. So unless they make certain secondary characters more important, they won't have any more unique main characters after him.

Smash doesn't have to make sense, but Sakurai wants accurate portrayals of characters. *watches Koopalings turn into Shadow Mario, sees Ganondorf use his own version of Falcon Punch* ...Yeah...Smash doesn't have to make sense. That's why it's fun.

Am I the only one who hopes that Sakurai will never make another Smash game? I want to see someone else behind it next time.

They used a moveset created for a character that was going to be part of what Smash originally was, 'Dragon Fighters' or somethin'. I actually wonder who will develop it. I have a feeling Miyamoto is interested in it...

I don't really see the appeal of alt costumes if a character is ruined just for the sake of having them in Smash. Smash DOES have to make sense, as Sakurai said regarding Ridley that they try to do accurate portrayals. Do people really like playing as Ludwig when he acts nothing like Ludwig, doesn't use any of Ludwig's actual moves, and inexplicably transforms into Shadow Mario >

when i looked up in the comments and saw a robin skin being morgon.i just was like,'WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT THATS GEINUS'!!!bit seriously why isnt there a morgon trophy at all?!? i mean,she's/he's the character that they litterally designed for u to grow attatched to and it worked.so i feel a morgon trophy was nessesary.but that alt skin idea would be better and is just GENIUS!

@Keith & Buddy, you know, the Final Smash "transformation" is so vague. In addition, Jr. is seen moving freely around the map even while Shadow Mario is at play... so, I kind of always saw it as the Koopalings summoning Bowser Jr. as Shadow Mario, myself, or Bowser Jr. summoning some Shadow Mario clone. I never play as Jr. anyway, so it makes sense for the Koopalings to summon their... uh, cousin?

I actually didn't like playing as the Koopalings in Smash 3DS for the same reason I don't like playing as Rosalina in MK8; the handling of the character doesn't really fit their personality. For some reason my attitude changed with the Wii U version (probably because they're easier to see) and now they're one character I'm working hard to gitgud with. I know I'm commenting a lot, sorry.

I can understand. A lot of people seem to dislike Wendy for some reason, while Larry and Lemmy are two common favorites. Iggy and Ludwig are my favorites, with Lemmy, Roy, Wendy, Larry, and Morton trailing behind, but I actually play as Wendy more than I would because I like her a lot and other people don't.

I like how chibi Morton looks in Smash. It's hilarious. But when I do play as Kid Koopa, I use Iggy.

Mostafa, I tend to use Wendy quite a bit after Lemmy, Roy, and Ludwig! Larry and Wendy are the two Koopalings that were barely resized actually, and Ludwig doesn't look all that bad resized. The only real weird ones are Roy, Morton, and Iggy. Lemmy is only weird if you look at him closely(or at the results screen). At least that's my opinion. I'd rather have them playable than not in at all.

They DID make her look very feminine, it would have been interesting to see what else they could have done with her. I saw her human form from the TV show...Oh my...

I like Wendy because she's basically a Koopa girl who's trying too hard to look like a grown-up. If Bowser had a daughter, this is likely a way that she would act, know what I mean. She kind of overdoes it, but that is the point of the character after all. She's still an aggressive, playful, mischievous Koopaling at heart though. @Demitri, actually, I think they did okay with Iggy. But yeah,lel

Basically, I don't think any characters that would work as assist trophies really need to be alt costumes, anyway.

Welp, alt characters are a thing now, sooooo that's that. Mostafa, looking at Iggy again, he looks fine in the kart to me, but out of the kart...That's another story. Sakurai isn't on vacation yet, he's working on Mewtwo, and I have a feeling Mewtwo may be the only DLC character, but who knows...

Also, back to the alt costumes, I wasn't going to mention these before since the characters aren't actually in the game (yet), but when Toad gets in, Toadette would be a no-brainer. Maybe even Toadsworth. Also, Yarn Kirby as an alt for Prince Fluff (or vice versa). THAT'S how you do alt costumes, since the characters would have the same physical traits and abilities.

Moveset: Standard Special: shines headlight in foes' eyes (no-flinch attack); Side Special: throws bomb immediately after plucking out of the ground; Up Special: Propeller Block; Down Special: pulls up a block of dirt, creating a gap that foes are immediately buried into; Final Smash: Giant Turnip or Super Pickaxe.

They probably wouldn't bother creating a new version of the Propeller Suit for Red Toad. And I doubt they would bother changing the color for the different Toad colors (and Toadette), either.

They don't even change the color of Giga Bowser or Giga Mac to match the alts. It would be simpler to just use the Propeller Block and it would make more sense, anyway.

Not to mention, the propeller hat almost certainly uses a less substantial amount of polygons than Giga Bowser. Also, Keith, you should have said "That's a different beast" for full pun effect. ...sorry.
