if shadow was playable he wouldint be a clone because if you think about it shadow has power and he can use chaos control and chaos blast and others and can be totally diffrent from sonic and same goes for silver he can use hes powers to be totally diffrent but tails i dont think would fit much in ssb because he is just in most games to cheer sonic on and make machines and fly places i mean ...

    "only one one 3rd party character per company" ~sakurai. so no more sega. i get it for shulk, megaman and pac-man but not really for sonic. i guess we just have to deal with it. T_T

    hes not much useful but he can use hes tails to fight and knuckels you only really see him punch and kick also glide and dig and thats about it and not much to work with but can probaly make a good fighter but shadow and silver are just better at fighting than they are but this is my opinion so dont take this seriously or get mad at me for basically tails and knuckles are useless in most
