Impressions

So I had this thought in my head about a new weapon type. Its the hybrid blade/gunner weapon, Dual Handbowguns. Two hand held bowguns with blades on the ends of them. They attack in a similar fasion to the dual swords but instead of a demon mode you can aim and shoot. They can use the same ammo types the traditional bowguns use, however do slightly less damage shot wise then LBGs.

    So dual Gunlances one problem if its like a Gun'ance then it can not use different ammo types.

    Oh you mean the Tonfa? I have seen a video of them in use, but I never played frontier. The dont look like they shoot anything though, they look like they have hidden blades that allow them to be both a blunt and slicing weapon.

    Prs, I don't mean the same size as gunlances, I mean the size of a handgun. Thus dual HANDbowguns that can use the same ammo standard bowguns use.

    The ability to shoot would balance out the no demon mode. A dual sword user would be able to output much more damage than a dual handbow user, however a dual handbow user would be able to hit places on monsters out of their melee reach and potentially KO monsters with crag shots.
