You can stall him out by playing Kangaskhan until he decks out. The AI can be really dumb sometimes. It took the final boss up to 4 turns to Ko a 40-HP Dratini.

I think you really need to tailor your deck. I used a specialized turtling strategy myself, too.

1) Don't be so hasty to evolve if you see a Mr. Mime, so you can still hit it if necessary. 2) Use "Switch" to switch to lower damage card on your bench to fight Mr. Mime. 3) Use "Gust of Wind" to send Mr. Mime back to the bench temporarily. 4) Use cards that can hit Mr. Mime on the opponent's bench. 5) use a status to negate Mr. Mime's Pokemon Power.

The AI in this game isn't all that good, the only issue is just Mr. Mime is a card that can't be beaten just by brute force, you need a back up strategy.

I beat him a while ago, its just wow. that is a fantastic deck. Plus the Alakazam, or was that someone else. also the trainer with snorlax and kangaskhan was really annoying, scoop up...

@LareBear: Murray's deck consists of stalling and drawing cards as fast as possible. Switch to a more defensive strategy, and use "maintenance" to replenish your deck, and just let Murray deck himself out. Playing aggressively and trying to draw cards as fast or faster than Murray usually just leads you yourself being decked out first instead.
