Okay, so I've asked a lot, but what is an EASY armor to make (G rank) that will get me through mark of a hero?

    agnaktor z armor isn't too bad! there is no HR6 armor that will help you much unless your a true master...

    G Rank armours aren't good until you get to 7* Tanzia, or are willing to farm Goldbeard. Your best bets are either Volvidon S (Attack up M, Evasion +1 naturally) or Rath Soul (Earplugs, CE +2, and Razor Sharp). Upgrade as far as you can. That fight is mainly you slaying Lagiacrus. Then letting Brach and Los beat each other to a pulp. Trust me, it's doable in high rank gear.

    i did it with g rank jaggi armor, went well... for me :3, also due to halve stun you don't get stunned easy which might be important against ivory lagi

    I swear by the barioth z armor. It has attack up L, heat proof, evade distance, enough item slots to let you gem in speed sharpening or any 5-decoration skill, and if you have the right talisman, you can get stamina recovery. Not to mention it looks awesome.

    Like Runo said,Jaggi X will do the job,but if you want something much better,I recommend Helios Z (Though Helios X skill's are much more useful compared to Z,but you can't make out the most of it since you can't obtain a Handicraft +5 Talisman until you've already reached end game)

    Azure thatalos is one of the bests choices,is hard to make but it will help a lot in many missions Also you can use stygian zinogre armor but you need to master your evading timing to use it at his full power Good luck hunter.

    I used the Darambros Z with nibelsnarf falds since I didn't have a darambolite, I had attack up L, Awaken for my Uragan hammer, and bombardier.

    I beat it with Goldbeard armor no problem. I just took care of the Lagi, then let Brach and Los take care of each other.

    Thanks to all that responded. The reason I need an easy to make armor is because I want to kill Alatreon before 4U. I think I'll go for Volvidon or Barioth armor, but I'd like earplugs, though.
