    My worst mistake was in Fire Red version.When I was getting out of the red cave part of Mt. Ember,I encountered a shiny Slugma(around lv20-30).I was 1st excited to finally find a shiny Pokemon in an older game,but became nervous finding out that my lowest lv Pokemon was Omastar(lv 40).I threw him out and took a chance using his weakest move,Spike Cannon-

    the first shiny i got from trading was lugia but then i traded it for a shiny requaza and they were both level 100

    -(and I was stupid enough to attack before throwing any of my Pokeballs at it).Since it was a consecutive move,the tension was rising even more.When he got to his 3rd time,Slugma was at red health.Then,Omastar attacked again and Slugma fainted.Worst mistake I've ever made in a Pokemon game.Moral to the story:Always have a False Swipe and/or sleep-move(especially Spore)Pokemon at all times if-

    @Eclair The worst part for me was that I made that Pokemon faint not that long ago. @Creeper Don't worry.You'll find 1 sometime.If I could encounter 2 wild shiny Gurdurrs in the same day(without using methods),you can find at least 1 in your lifetime.

    Well one time, while I was playing Pokémoj Platinum… I was at the start of a cave, when a Golbat appeared. Because I used a Pokémon Center LONG from where the cave was, and my Pokémon had been low on health, I threw my only Master Ball at the Golbat! (I was also unlucky enough to have an Unown (K) as my first shiny)

    @tecMeerkat You think that was a bad choice,in my 1st Pokemon game,Ruby,I found a Wailmer and I thought it was rare,so I threw my Master Ball at it.Dumbest choice ever!
